Spoiler onigiri nori

Laser-etched nori seaweed that reveals what filling is hidden inside the rice ball before you take a bite.

When making onigiri at home, it's impossible to tell which one is salmon, tuna mayo, or pickled plum from the outside. Labeling plastic wrap with a marker feels mundane, and taking a speculative bite isn't ideal.

So I cut the names of the fillings straight into sheets of roasted nori with a laser cutter. The cutting process fills the entire room with a wonderfully toasted seaside aroma. If you have a laser cutter at home, even tiny domestic problems can be easily solved.
