A soap dispenser stand that plays music for 30 seconds when pumped
A smart base designed to sit beneath ordinary liquid soap bottles to time handwashing routines.
When someone presses down on the pump, the downward force triggers a mechanical switch inside the base, starting a 30-second melody matching the WHO-recommended duration for proper handwashing.
Because it acts as a passive stand, there is no need to refill proprietary dispensers—any off-the-shelf soap bottle works instantly. Built with an Arduino and a piezo buzzer, it turns proper hygiene habits into an effortless routine for kids. The code and schematics are available on GitHub.
