A browser extension that "translates" web articles to a child's reading level.

Select an age and click "Tune"—the OpenAI API summarizes and rewrites the content on the fly, adding annotations and simplifying complex phrasing so kids can read articles by themselves.

I built this wondering about how AI could be embedded in and elevate everyday experiences rather than staying trapped in chat interfaces. What if changing the reading level of an article was as casual and fluid as changing the font size? I really just wanted to see what that interaction would feel like firsthand.

Ultimately this became a fun experiment to help my own kids explore real-world news on the internet that aren't typically written for children.
