With advances in generative AI, seamless inpainting has become remarkably fast and accessible. I wondered: what if we used this to hide subtle "glitches" inside our most familiar everyday scenes, like our own rooms, daily walking routes, or holiday snapshots?

You Don't Know Your Own Room as Well as You Think

Pick a photo, and the AI interprets the objects and context within the frame, generating an altered version with changes so natural they almost belong there. You might take a photo of the living room or desk you see every single day, yet the moment a detail is quietly swapped out, you and your family are left second-guessing your own memory: "Wait, what was originally sitting there?" or "Was that always that color?"
