Human Eye Simulator

A webcam filter that puts the eye's own flaws back into the picture

A browser-based shader filter that reconstructs the distortions, chromatic aberrations, blinks, and drifts of the human visual system onto a real-time webcam feed.

Even a selfie gives you an eerie sensation of being watched

While digital cameras rely on flat sensors that register straight lines and stay rigidly still, the human eye is a fluid-filled sphere undergoing constant micro-movements and signal cutoffs. This experiment artificially reconstructs the biological artifacts that the brain continuously suppresses and edits out of conscious awareness.

Simulated Visual Elements

Implemented to process the camera stream directly in the browser, functioning as a real-time mirror where artifacts respond immediately to user movement.
